Drawing and painting
Realism~mermaid~
Above, is a Realism piece, which incorporates a human and animal~ Mermaid. I used Oil Paint, and did subtle editing with the piece on the left, and expanded on the sides with the one on the right. The original photograph is at the middle.
Still Life, Charcoal
Here, I used a candle holder for still life, with the medium of charcoal. The candle holder was metallic and polished, It was circular in shape thus making soft edges and stuff on the drawing. With editing on Photoshop, i used a texture to make it seem metal and added more shades and highlights.
Statement Piece/Mixed Media
Here, I used acrylic and fabric to show a confused, and partially innocent face being consumed by the darkness around labeled "Temptation" This piece was done in Acrylic and fabric. I feel that the face has been rushed and the one eye's misplacement slipped past me un-noticed up until I saw the photograph
Metamorphosis
A metamorphosis piece that shows a lobster turning into a flamingo done in Oil Pastel. Doing this piece gave me practice in animation/movement.
Figure
This piece, a figure drawing of a rag doll suspended in straps that allowed me to practice/ have a good perception on proportions, compared to my first piece (Artist Inspiration). This was done in oil pastel and watercolor.
Luna Lovegood (portrait)
A portrait piece of Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, or Evanna Lynch. This helped me practice a bit more with realism. My peeve on this piece is that the nose has inadequate shading, making it look broad.
Artist inspiration
Inspired from Foo Midori's artworks, i feel, know that the piece is unsuccessful due to mostly the proportions and background. I know that i can improve on it more. Upon starting this piece, it gave me a new perception on how I draw.
